Well, this brand is so soft and so fluffy, it doubled down and uses the same word twice in its name: FuwaFuwa which means, you guessed it, fluffy. In fact, FuwaFuwa [ fluffy] most likely has its roots in work undertaken by the studio several years ago that focused on working with our hands, combining multiple crafts and skills, and an unabashed love of colour. Always wanting to celebrate creative design, charm, and love. Each piece promises to fill your life with joy and warmth like a perfect hug. Because hugs are essential.

Every item that comes from FuwaFuwa [fluffy] will have either been made by hand, or finished by hand ensuring detail upon detail comes from human touch. Because of this dedication the products are made in micro-batches, never in excess, and this allows us the time and ability to make sure our hands fall upon every single item in a unique and special way.

The peak product on offer here is the Meiso Blanket, the pièce de résistance. A very special product that is made from the finest Scottish spun Mongolian Cashmere and dyed by hand individually every time. Meiso, is Japanese for meditation. Whether you use the blanket to keep you warm while diving deep into meditation or you wrap yourself with it to imbue the calm and inward reflection of colourful aura, you will find transcendence in its soft embrace.

The Snuggle Hat, like a bucket hat only softer is for snuggling and more. If you never thought of wearing a hat for snuggling, you haven’t lived. The key to FuwaFuwa [fluffy] is finding stitches that just work, and colours that sing using fibres that are magic. While always trying to maintain simplicity, there is little fussiness about the construction and manufacturing of these items. The blankets and hats are made on hand-operated knitting machines allowing for the feelings of the individual knitter to meet the final product. The finishing on these items is also done by an excellent team of hand finishers who imbue years and sometimes decades of expertise in the craft of knitting.

The socks are made on the same machines that knit for some of the world’s leading and most renowned sock brands at a factory that since 1892, has been in operation by the same family for 5 generations. They also have held the Royal Warrant to HRH King Charles III since 1989 no less. These socks could have been made on a machine that made a pair of socks worn by HRH. Could being the operative word.
